“Pretty Bird”
I loved this parrot’s expression, coy, intelligent, and just a bit vain. He (she?) was a joy to paint. I treated the image with a series of very loose washes, only adding the bits of detail in the feathers at the very end. This is a watercolor on 140# Canson paper, 9×12″ SOLD
