“Kona Sunrise”

One morning last December, my sister and I stood admiring a beautiful sunrise over Kailua-Kona, enjoying coffee and conversation and the pulse of the waves below. This piece was largely a joy to paint, though I had several challenges along the way, which is why I paint. What would the point be if there were no challenges along the way?  Oil on canvas, 29″x18″, this is another piece that utilizes the Golden Mean or Fibronacci sequence.  $1055
